He looked down at himself. Jeans, stained Iron Maiden t-shirt, leather jacket. He shrugged. He was clearly the odd man out, but... 'Whatever. I ain't wearing tights.'

My name is Carmine Jacobs. I'm a metahuman. My codename is Sanguine.
I'm not a superhero, although there's no shortage of them in Metropolis. I'm an EMT. What most people - wrongly, I might add - call paramedics. To be entirely precise, I'm an EMMT - an Emergency Meta-Medical Technician. I deal with meta-related situations. Injured metas, mostly. White hat and black.
